Our commitment to you
While the gastrointestinal conditions we treat can be complex, our goal is simple: to provide the best care and support to patients and their families. We believe in building lasting relationships with our patients, who range in age from newborn to 21 years old.
Our compassionate team is committed to earning your trust. Our Atlanta-area practice has 11 convenient locations, so we are nearby when you need us.
Our services
We provide a wide range of GI services including:
- Consultations and follow-ups
- Inpatient and outpatient procedures
- Nutrition and psychological consultations
- A feeding program through Marcus Autism Center
- Infusion therapy
We are proud to provide the country’s only free-standing outpatient pediatric endoscopy center at our Atlanta location. We are also pleased to provide infusion services for children and adults at our locations in Alpharetta, Athens/Watkinsville, Atlanta, Lawrenceville, Marietta, and Newnan. All of our physicians treat patients at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA), Northside Hospital, and Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Our history
Founded in 1999, GI Care for Kids was established when Children’s Gastroenterology Group and The Center for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition merged to become the premier pediatric gastrointestinal practice in Georgia providing compassionate and personalized care.
Today, our physician-owned practice includes a team of board-certified doctors and registered nurses serving patients across 11 Atlanta-area locations. Our 17 top doctors participate in active research studies and serve as national leaders in pediatric GI professional organizations. We strive everyday to build lasting relationships with patients and their families. After all, we’re parents, too, and we know how important it is to know that your child is receiving the best care.
Our vision for the future is to remain a convenient, comprehensive center for diagnosis, treatment, and the ancillary services that pediatric patients need to thrive. We are committed to continuing to offer state-of-the-art services and treatments, including research studies in Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and capsule endoscopy, while providing access to treatments that may not be widely available.

Giving to the community is a priority for us. We founded two summer camps at Camp Twin Lakes – Camp Oasis for kids with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis, and Camp Weekaneatit for kids with celiac disease. We serve on the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) board and the executive and nutrition committees. We provide leadership in local and national organizations like Georgia Pediatric Subspecialists, The Children’s Care Network board, and the North American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
