Larry M. Saripkin, M.D.

Dr. Saripkin was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He earned his BA as well as his Medical Doctorate from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. After graduation, Dr. Saripkin did his internship and his residency in pediatrics at Vanderbilt University, and also had a pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Case Western Reserve Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Saripkin moved to Georgia in 1984 and has been President of GI Care for Kids since its beginning in 1999. He is actively involved with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite, is the Section Chief of Pediatric GI, and serves on many of CHOA's committees. He is on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America. His medical interests include inflammatory bowel disease, chronic constipation, and chronic pain syndromes.
